Chigwell Road RRC
A booking is required for anyone using a van or trailer to visit the RRCs.

Before visiting, please make sure you have read the information below. There may be long queues, so you should arrive well before closing time.
Please do not visit an RRC if you have been tested positive for Covid-19
Bring a recent Council Tax statement or your driving licence (registered to an address in Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Newham or Redbridge) as proof of residence
Assistance to unload vehicles may not be available, so please bring someone with you to help if you require it
Children and animals must remain inside vehicles at all times
Please note that we are now able to accept larger vans and twin axle trailers carrying Household Waste at the Jenkins Lane and Frizlands Lane RRCs only. Light commercial-type vehicles (under 3,500kg maximum permissible mass) and single axle trailers are permitted at the Chigwell Road and Gerpins Lane RRCs. All vans and vehicles towing trailers must have a valid booking. If driving a van, you are asked to bring the vehicle’s V5C logbook to prove it is below this weight threshold and may be re-directed to the Jenkins Lane site if this is not the case.
Damaged Upholstered Furniture
Any upholstered furniture dismantled, torn off or cut up MUST be double-bagged. These bags, along with damaged upholstered furniture must be put into the special area marked with the ‘Upholstered Furniture’ symbol. Find out more.
All vehicles remain subject to checks for proof of address within the ELWA region and for restricted/commercial waste. Commercial Waste is not accepted at the Chigwell Road RRC but can be taken to the Frizlands Lane or Jenkins Lane RRCs. Please be aware that the Jenkins Lane RRC is busiest between 12pm and 1pm on weekdays, so please avoid visiting at that time if possible.
No Luton Vans, flat bed vehicles, vans with tail lifts or tippers of any size are permitted to access any site at this time.

Please make sure you arrive well before these closing times as there may be long queues. If a queue will prevent you accessing before the site’s closing time, you will be advised to use an alternative site or try again another day.
