This section of the website outlines the type of information that is available at East London Waste Authority under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations (Statutory Instrument 2004 No. 3391).

Given the nature of ELWA’s activities and the fact that environmental information is interpreted quite broadly ELWA now generally answers information requests under the Environmental Information Regulations rather than the Freedom of Information Act.

However, you may submit a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 or Environmental Information Regulations – ELWA will answer the request according to the appropriate legislation.
